Seeking to bring new knowledge to St Neots, CEDIA is has announced the opening of a new education facility at its UK headquarters in Cambridgeshire. Consisting of an education room, a practical workshop and a new breakout area, CEDIA will provide technology integrators with the latest education in an environment set to inspire and engage. Opened on Monday 8th May, the new space marks CEDIA’s on-going commitment to invest in high quality industry training.
Last year, CEDIA hosted 72 courses, welcoming nearly 600 integrators to its training room. With its education continuing to increase in popularity, CEDIA decided to expand its facility to be able to accommodate the interest that its training courses are generating. Complete with a brand new training room, as well as a workshop with six work stations, the area provides more space for both theoretical and practical sessions. There is also a new breakout area, perfect for delegates to relax and network between sessions.
“Education is an essential step for those looking to enter and progress their skills in the home technology industry,” comments Matt Nimmons, Managing Director, CEDIA EMEA. “Our education programme continues to grow in popularity, so we felt that it was time to invest in a dedicated training facility. Since the facility opened at the beginning of May, it has been fully booked, with attendees enjoying the new space for various training sessions, including the four-day Technical School. We are delighted that the space has received a great reception from all who attended these sessions.”
Between June and December, CEDIA will be hosting just under 100 days of training at its new facility, with courses ranging from Project and Business Processes to Audio, Video and RF Systems for Installers and Design Process and Documentation to 3D Audio and Immersive Sound for Home Cinema.
