URC’s whole home system Total Control 2.0 has been granted the “Works with Sonos” badge of quality. Either through the free apps, stylish desktop controller or Wi-Fi remotes, end-users can now browse favourites, manage grouping and take advantage of advanced automation features from the Sonos multiroom audio range.
The result is powerful, easily integrated and stable multi-room audio control on the Total Control 2.0 platform. Total Control 2.0 is renowned for delivering an exceptional fully integrated control experience for AV, lighting, security, heating and more, fully supported by AWE’s expert technical and support team. Integrators can personalise their URC systems using a fully customisable colour scheme. They can also add attractive images to help define and flavour room, scene and background settings, with up to 100 scenes that can be pre-programmed for immediate access to a specific command. The Sonos module is available via URC’s dealer portal.
As well as support for all the latest releases and URC hardware, AWE also provides awards-winning training at its Smart Home Academy in Epsom. A URC Total Control specific course is available to help bring installers up to speed with the benefits of Total Control 2.0, its Accelerator software and how to integrate AV devices and third-party systems. The next Whole House Integration with URC (Total Control) training course will take place on August 28th, followed by October 16th.
“URC Total Control 2.0 is an incredibly versatile control solution that’s intuitive to use and easy to customise to meet homeowner tastes and preferences,” says Stuart Tickle, AWE’s Managing Director. “We’re committed to making the URC experience as seamless, convenient and enjoyable as possible for all our customers. This latest URC certified control module ensures that installers can achieve fast, simple and reliable Sonos integration and brings an attractive feature set that will appeal strongly to their customers. It’s another great reason to go for Total Control 2.0.”
