New from Future Automation comes a series of design updates to their popular Under Bed TV Lift Range. The Under Bed TV Lift (UBL) and Under Bed TV Lift and Swivel (UBLS) both offer a cabinetry free method of concealing and revealing screens from 37- to 55-inches in the bedroom and the newly announced design updates are set to help increase the usability and wow factory of each mechanism every further.
The two main design changes to the UBL and ULBS mechanisms are an increase in opening/closing speed using a new main drive motor and an increase in maximum screen height when open thanks to a redesigned telescope unit. These changes have been achieved with minimal impact to the overall footprint of the UBL and UBLS mechanism and will reduce overall operating time of the mechanisms.
“We’re always speaking to customers and looking back through our product range to see where we can make key product updates and we found that a few small changes to the Under Bed TV Lift range would make a big difference to the overall user experience,” says Jack Percival, Design Manager at Future Automation.
The UBL and ULBS design updates are based primarily on direct feedback from Future Automation’s customers, who asked for an increase in overall operating speed and the option for greater variation in screen height to cater for all types of bed.
The design updates to Future Automation’s UBL and UBLS mechanism will take effect immediately and updated technical sheets and CAD files are available via the Future Automation website at http://www.futureautomation.net.
The updated UBLS mechanism will be on show on at the CEDIA Expo 2018 in San Diego on Future Automation’s Booth #5725.
