SVI Trade Awards 2011

As long-time readers will know, each year we like to invite people from across the industry to cast their votes for the products and services that have impressed them the most over the last 12-months.

Since it’s you – yes, that means YOU – who gets to pass judgement, each SVI Trade Winner is decided by those who make the business what it is - retailers, installers, distributors and manufacturers.

We’re hoping to make this fourth awards season the biggest and best yet, but the only way that’s going to happen is if you lot step up and make your voices heard. Voting is easy – all you have to do is click on the link below and fill out the voting form. The closing date is March 31st, so there’s plenty of time to decide where your votes should go.

As always, there are no pre-selected nominees – whoever’s in the running for each category is entirely up to you. Given that SVI’s remit straddles both the consumer audiovisual and the residential custom install markets, we’re not expecting you to cast a vote in every category. Instead, feel free to contribute to as few, or as many, as you wish. Once the results have been totted up, we’ll announce the winners in our May issue (look out for it on May 6th 2011), before congratulating them in person at a presentation ceremony we’ll be putting on at next year’s CEDIA Home Technology Event, which takes place at ExCel London from 28th-30th June.

As far as the categories are concerned, we like to think we’ve covered all the bases. If, however, you want to see something given a nod that doesn’t fit neatly under any of the following headings, just let us know and we’ll see what we can do about squeezing in an honourable mention or two.
The rest, as they say, is in your hands, so may the best companies win…
