The National Self Build and Renovation Centre in Swindon will this year feature participation from CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) with the focus set firmly on education for self-builders.
Taking place on 6th-7th March, CEDIA will be presenting a seminar entitled ‘The Intelligent Home: How Technology Can Enhance Your Life’ which aims to provide an insight into how to use technology in the home in order to enhance the lifestyles of homeowners.
Presenting the seminar on Thursday 6th March will be Peter Aylett, CEDIA’s Education Manager, whilst Paul Helliar, a CEDIA board member, will present on Friday 7th March.
During the event the CEDIA stand, which is at the centre throughout the year, will be manned by CEDIA members so that visitors can put forward any question to professionals who specialise in the planning, design, supply, installation, integration, concealment and control of automated electronic systems for the modern, intelligent home.
With a plethora of technologies already available, CEDIA will demonstrating what is possible in terms of home entertainment, security, home automation, lighting control, communications and integration with the Internet, as well as offering a glimpse into future possibilities.
Also exhibiting at the show are CEDIA member companies; Pulse Marketing, Hometech Integration, Schneider Electric, ilight and CSE Solutions.
