The latest of Imerge's high-end products are now available from AWE, including the MS5000 video/multi-zone audio server and MP1000 networked media player.
Featuring 1080p HD video scaling and 3TB of RAID5-based storage, MSC500 is specifically designed to prevent any data loss in the event of hard drive failure. Audio can be easily imported into the system from the usual external sources (PCs, iPods) for output in up to five zones, all controlled via a 'dual GUI' that can be operated via two separate screens. Up to 16 MP1000 players can be linked to the main server, with up to seven of those able to display 1080p video footage throughout the home.
Speaking of these new additions to the AWE portfolio, company MD Stuart Tickle noted that, “The Imerge products are already in demand from our customers. As a specialist install product, to access the MS5000 media server customers will need to attend our one-day training course to gain hands-on experience and learn best practice for installations.”
