Lee Harding, Business Development Manager at Alltrade, comments: “Ahead of the digital switchover coming to the South East in 2012, the Home Technology Event provides an excellent platform for us to reach a new custom installation audience. We will be showcasing our Sky Associated Retailer Scheme (formerly Sky Buddy) at the show, alongside our range of set top boxes and associated components. We’re really looking forward to the event.”
Lance Omsky, Sales Director at Global Cellular, meanwhile notes that, “Many of our clients are CEDIA members. We have always attended the show as trade visitors and now we feel it is time to grow our installer base and offer our fantastic products to more members. The approval of professionals in the industry is always an accurate review of how good your product is!” A new Barkan value for money fixed mount, an intriguing-sounding ‘Stylus Audio Visual network media cube’ and a series of HDMI cables will be among the products on display at the company’s stand.
According to Cheryl Carroll, Event Manager at Upper Street Events, “Bringing a new dynamic to the show was one of our key objectives, and these debut exhibitors will certainly help do that. With fresh, exciting content guaranteed from these companies alongside the new initiatives we have planned, visitors this year can be certain of a stimulating and rewarding experience.”
Said initiatives currently at the planning stage are said to include a ‘3D Feature Zone’, a series of manufacturer- and distributor-hosted installer workshops and a centrally-located ‘Hub Seminar Theatre’ that will play host to a number of what Upper Street Events describes as ‘big name speakers’.
