THE PRICE IS RIGHT

Taking into account the recent adverse changes to exchange rates, award-winning British Loudspeaker company, Q Acoustics, has announced that from the 1st April 2009 it will be raising it's prices by an average of 9.5%.
Q Acoustics is a brand of Armour Home, Tony Jones, their category manager with special responsibility for Q Acoustics explained: “Unfortunately, the fall in the value of Sterling against other major currencies, especially the U.S. Dollar, over the past six months has led to an increase in our costs of more than 30%. I’m sure everyone will understand that, under these circumstances, we can no longer hold our prices at their current levels.”
Offering some good news, Jones continued: “we have actually been able to reduce the prices of the dedicated Q-AV floor stand, table stand and wall brackets. Remarkably, this means the price of a complete Q-AV 5.1 speaker package, including the rotating, universal TV table stand, is now only £800 including vat, a reduction of £80.”
From 1st April 2009, Q Acoustics recommended retail prices, including vat at 15%, will be:
1000 Series
Model 1010i : £109.90
1020i : £139.90
1030i : £249.90
1050i : £369.90
1000Ci: £109.90
1000Si: £219.90
1010 5.1 Package: £549.60
Q-AV Series
Model 5.1 Package: £649.90
3.1 Package: £549.90
Subwoofer: £289.90
Rear speakers: £99.90
