SVI AWARDS 2011 UPDATE

March 31st voting deadline now looming…
Our reasoning is that it’s you lot – retail, manufacturing, distribution and system integration professionals – who are best placed to bestow honours upon those companies that have done the most to make the industry what it is. That way you can be sure that whenever you see the ‘SVI Trade Awards Winner’ logo emblazoned on a company’s marketing material, it’s there because AV and CI industry insiders have given it their stamp of approval.
Like any democratic process, the SVI Awards need votes in order to count, hence this reminder. The closing date for voting is March 31st, so if you haven’t already made your voice heard, now’s the time to get cracking. All you need to do is fill in the voting form hosted elsewhere on the SVI website by clicking on this link. Once there, you can vote in as few or as many categories as you wish. We appreciate that while some may cover areas that you deal with on a daily basis, others might lie outside your own field of specialist knowledge – all we ask is that you flag up your picks in whichever categories you feel most qualified to comment upon.
Once all the votes have been cast, collated and counted, we will then be announcing the winners in our May issue (look out for it on May 6th), before congratulating the winners in person at a presentation ceremony we’ll be hosting at our stand at this year’s CEDIA Home Technology Event between 28-30 June – further details will be announced nearer the time.
