Nice..
I’m wondering how the winners are decided?
Thanks to all who voted for Tannoy ...very much appreciated!
It’s all voted for by members of the industry via the SVI website, we’re completely hands off until it closes and we count up!
More importantly, I’d like to know how the winner of the Best Cable/Interconnect category is decided.
I’m wondering what is so special about the Peerless HDMI cable, compared to the hundreds of others that can provide identical video and audio quality.
That category is exactly the same as all the others, so that’ll be the cable that the most members of the industry picked. Like that increasingly annoying meercat says: “Simples”.
You missed my point, Stuart. I’m wondering why so many members picked this particular cable. I’m questioning the wisdom of allowing digital cables into a Best Cable category, because unless they are evaluated purely on build quality, then they all do pretty much exactly the same job. Unfortunately we still have the situation where many audiophiles/videophiles/journalists claim that certain digital cables give a soundtrack more “punch” or help to provide better “texture” with video.
