Pro Audio Stash has launched its new R8010 slide and rotate rack system to the retail and trade markets. The slide and rotate rack system was designed in response to customer feedback when the need to easily gain access to the rear of racks for maintenance was indentified. The system provides greater flexibility for 19-inch racking set ups that are installed in tight and difficult to access spaces.
Designed to be installed into residential and commercial properties where space is at a premium, the rack can slide out from the base unit and rotate 90 degrees to allow installers or maintenance personnel to gain access to the rear of the rack and equipment. A prominent feature of the slide and rotate rack system is the extending cable management bar at the rear of the rack. This allows cables and leads to be trunked neatly through the rack to the rear, while still being able to fully slide and rotate the rack.
The rack can be supplied in any height up to 20U and can take a maximum weight load of 40Kg. Slam locks located at the front on the base unit will lock the rack into place once it has been slid into its home position. This makes it ideal for installations where outside movement may be an issue, such as yachts and high-end motor homes.
