The CEDIA Awards are over for another year, the black-ties have been untied/unclipped and popped back in the draw and the dinner suits have gone back to Moss Bros in varying states of disrepair. It was an evening of glamour and gongs, triumph and tears, accolades and alcohol. The great and good of the installation world held their breath as TV’s Trevor Eve worked his way through 12 categories covering everything from the self-explanatory Best Home Cinema under £40,000 to the potentially disappointing Best Dress Rack – although if you were expecting that to be something else you were probably at the wrong awards dinner.
So congratulations and a round of SVI-centric applause to the winners, commiserations and a slow SVI shake of the head to the losers. Here’s the lucky few in full:
