Pro Audio Stash introduce Sky-specific face plate system for rack units
The company’s Sky+ HD Face Plate package consists of the face plate itself and a vented rack shelf for mounting said hardware. The face plate is attached to the shelf via two front-facing magnets, allowing installers and end users to easily access to the hardware and connections when needed.
The product is intended to be the first in a series of similarly ergonomic rack shelves and face plates specifically designed for other items – future offerings that Pro Audio Stash have announced thus far include the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, Mac Mini and the iPad.
According to Pro Audio Stash Managing Director, Rob Platt, “Pro Audio Stash has noticed a change in the expectations of installation companies. We can no longer provide a metal cupboard. As a company we constantly listen to suggestions from our clients about how installations could be made easier. We then develop the products that do just that.”
