Peddle to Paris

Despite knowing all about airplanes and the Eurostar staff from Rako decided they would find out just how far Kent is from Paris by cycling there. All in the name of charitable endeavour 14 personnel from Rako and three from Ex-Ception, an exhibition and stand building company, embarked upon the 185 mile cycle with a view to being in Paris four days later.

Despite the deceptively hilly nature of Kent the team arrived in Dieppe on the second day with spirits high and managed to maintain a steady pace throughout the whole trip to arrive in Paris on schedule. After managing to avoid the notoriously treacherous Parisian traffic and overcoming varying degrees of saddle sores the team from Rako were proud of their achievements and considering they managed to raise over £5000 for charity we’d say they have every right to be.
