Audio T gives site a web 2.0 makeover
Developed by Ipswich-based creative digital agency Crafted Media, the new site allows visitors to book in-store product demonstrations, seek advice through product-specific forums and consult various product descriptions via a series of blogs maintained by each of Audio T’s 23 nationwide branches, which will also provide details of clearance sales.
Audio T’s Online Manager, Ben Hockham, commented that: “Our customers make informed decisions about the products they purchase. This is why the website encourages social networking by enabling visitors to add their own comments about products or share them with friends via Facebook and Twitter.
Customers are able to search for products by the ‘expected’, traditional methods such as brand, category and keyword, but also by those stocked at their nearest high-street store. Products can also be bought as new, or if available, at a discounted price from the clearance stock (i.e. ex-demo).”
Last July, Audio T entered into a joint commercial partnership with Sevenoaks Sound & Vision, which has seen both entities pool their product and stock resources - to date, the two businesses have continued to operate as separately branded entities.
