With a dedicated retail team of six full-time members of staff, covering the entire UK, today marks the beginning of the Freesat National Training Roadshow.
Visiting 11 locations around the country, the team will be advising sales teams, managers and installers on the service and its future plans, as well as covering up-selling techniques and answering any questions staff may have about the service.
Two training sessions will run in each location from 10am-12pm and 4pm-6pm, with attendees able to compete to win prizes including HD-Ready TVs, Freesat set-top boxes and satellite installations for their store.
Travelling in rather attractive mobile display units, the team is backed up by an extranet site full of training material, news, point of sale ordering and details on retail support. Retailers can also take advantage of Freesat’s dedicated Retail Direct Support Line on: +44 (0)845 313 0059, which can offer store staff advice on the service, even with a customer in front of them.
