New control option for Nikobus system
Niko has developed a new user interface for the Harmony range, enabling the handheld remotes to interact with Nikobus-controlled lighting and automated fittings. The interface is intended to require minimal configuration on the part of the user, while still allowing specific operations in each room to be easily assigned to individual keys.
A user manual with step-by-step instructions for incorporating a Logitech Harmony remote into a Nikobus Control System has been produced to accompany the interface, and is available for download from Niko's support page.
Steve Calder, Niko UK Sales Director, commented that the new update features “all same functionalities as the Philips Pronto but at a less expensive price. The new Logitech Harmony updates ensures that installers can easily offer a larger customer base the benefits of a Nikobus remote controlled home and demonstrates that the Nikobus Home control System truly is easy to install, easy to program - and above all, easy to use.”
