Severs comments that, “I’m delighted to be developing the UK interests of some the most desirable high-performance brands in the world. That we’ve won the backing of these brands in a very competitive situation is a major vote of confidence in our business ethics and proficiency. We will be announcing complementary additions to the Karma brand portfolio early in 2011.”
The other is Fusion AV, a new venture launched by Mark Hungate in collaboration with Pulse Marketing’s Mike Beatty. Company representatives have stated that the latter will contribute marketing expertise, and that Fusion will operate in all other respects as an independent entity with its own corporate branding, accounts ID and contact details.
Initially, Focus AV will be handling UK sales and marketing for SpeakerCraft. To that end, the Fusion AV sales team comprises a number of SpeakerCraft veterans, including Clive Eddy, David Bunnage, Glenn Kelly and Grant Bourne, with Paul Slater appointed the role of technical support. The company expects to add other brands to its portfolio ‘very soon’.
Mark Hungate stated, “We now have the potential to get the best out of our brands even in a highly competitive market. By concentrating on better service, information and supply we can help installers to deliver the best performance and value to their customers.”
In turn, Mike Beatty noted that, “In SpeakerCraft and in our growing product offering we have the opportunity to prove that co-ordinated marketing and sales can make huge difference to the way brands are perceived and utilised for the benefit of dealers and the industry as a whole.”
