MEET YOUR NEW EDITORIAL TEAM!

The boys are back in town...
For those of you not in the know, old Editor Callum Fauser was recently discovered to be a Russian spy and, as such, we had him ‘disappeared’ to somewhere he can do no further harm (some other magazine in a different office). Consequently we have a new dream team here at the industry’s favourite title – the swoony Stuart Pritchard (original Editor of SVI and Editor-in-Chief of SmartLife International) and the dreamlike-in-a-Freddie-Kruger-fashion Sam Corrigan (Deputy Editor on SmartLife International).
Said me: “It’s good to be back in the hotseat here at the home of cutting-edge kit and install. It’s been eight years or so since I launched the groundbreaking SVI and I’ve seen a lot change in the industry over those years, technologies and companies come and go, and even some exciting attempts in the field of magazine cloning.
Of course as Editor-in-Chief I’ve never actually been away but have lurked in the background, like Gary Glitter at a Jamboree, keeping a close, watchful eye on all fresh developments and gently guiding my Editors along. But now I’m back on the front line, putting you back in the safest hands this side of Edwin van der Sar. Oh and Sam’s not too bad. Not great, but…”

The old/new team is currently toiling away at the coalface of AV and install industry journalism as you read, so expect their first issue on April 1st. The date is just an unfortunate coincidence…

Superb news; we look forward to the full bore of your razor wit, dashing good looks and penchant for Cornflakes with Moet poured delicately over them for breakfast. Are you looking for a new editor for Smartlife yet then… my CV is in the post. And if not, I have other stories from press trips around the world… (hic). Keep up the good work!
