Automated lighting firm Dynalite have seen one of their control solutions employed in the development of a new luxury apartment complex located in Westcliff-on-Sea.
Custom installers for the project, Complete Entertainment Installations (CEI), opted to make use of the company’s DDMC802 multipurpose controller, DDRC8108DT relay controller and DR2PE ‘Revolution Series’ control panel in each of the complex’s 45 apartments, together with several DUS804 universal sensors to enable motion, infra-red and light-level sensing. Each Dynalite system will then be able to integrate with the third-party AV control system that will also be present via a DNG232 RS232 serial port interface.

“More and more installers and building owners are opting to install integrated control systems,” states Dynalite Sales Engineer, Phil Hardy. “By integrating control systems, building owners can avoid duplicating infrastructure for individual control systems which is wasteful and costly. It also means the management and operation of multiple control systems can be avoided. This is especially relevant for new construction projects like the Nirvana apartment complex.”
