American audio experts and friends of the magazine Current Audio have announced the appointment of Hal Truax to the position of Vice President of Business Development at its California base. Throughout his career Hal has gained experience as an installer, integrator, buyer, and manufacturer and he brings to Current Audio a long history of wide-ranging industry expertise. Within his new position he will be tasked with leveraging Current Audio’s position as a best-in-class designer and builder of audio products and identify new areas of growth for the Current Audio brand.
When asked about his new role Hal said: “I am extremely excited to have this opportunity with Current Audio. We will be launching specific channel strategies in the very near future. I am on board to help with the launch of new initiatives to grow the Current Audio brand. CEDIA [US Expo] is the perfect platform to get our message out. Better sound, quicker install, better build quality, and all off our own tooling.”
