The Internet has proven itself to be rather useful and so it is time for the AV industry to get the most out of it. INDI (Independent Network of Dealers and Installers) is a new B2C and B2B online search directory for our industry. Verified members login to their profiles and tag the relevant categories they offer along with the postcode areas they cover. The home page filter allows the public to search by category (single or multiple) and place name or postcode with the results shown on a map along with a list of members.
Members of indi include dealers, installers, manufacturers, distributors and affiliates. It their our ultimate aim to list all 6000 or so members of the industry with dealer locator indipedia (like the Wiki version but with more veracity) information pages that help the public and trade research new products and services. To make all this work indi need industry members to sign up or verify their listing on the indi website so they can edit their profile and appear in the relevant searches - so what exactly are you waiting for, go on now... go on.
