Here comes the Sonance

Following the parting of ways between Habitech and Current Audio news reached us this month of a new distribution deal for the UK based distribution firm. As of October Habitech will be the UK distributor for architectural speaker specialists Sonance. Sonance, an American company that were innovators and pioneers in the field, has a selection of five different ranges of speaker options, all of which will be available through Habitech.

Jonathan Pengilley, Managing Director of Habitech, said: “Sonance is the original architectural speaker and it continues to set the bench mark for the industry. Sonance has a fantastic range, including hospitality and commercial, and I look forward to working with the company and increasing sales of these industry-leading products. Sonance is a premium brand of speakers and we are delighted to represent it in the UK.”

Kent Sheldon, Vice President of International Sales at Sonance, said: “Habitech is a dynamic young company and we are extremely excited to begin working with them. It understands the UK CI market, we know it will support the CI resellers, and that it has the resources and team necessary to support our products and our dealers in the field.”
