Exemplifying the importance of teamwork this month are Elan and Niles with the announcement of a complementary product development which will see Niles IntelliControl ICS platform now interface with the ELAN g! control system. Both companies are distributed here in the UK by MidwichHome and the collaboration is indicative of the comprehensive solutions customers can get when using MidwichHome.

The combination of technology means that Niles ICS installers will now be able to offer both installed and new ICS customers an affordable bridge to the home control of television, lighting, climate, and other functions via the ELAN g! system. It also means that Niles ICS dealers and customers can enjoy the benefits of whole home automation controlled by an iPad and iPhone.

“We’re very pleased to be in a position to offer this cross-brand initiative,” explains Marc Waple, Regional Sales Manager for MidwichHome. “It’s only possible because both Niles and ELAN are part of the MidwichHome stable, and installers will see huge benefits as a result of the strategy, with Niles ICS and ELAN g! offering seamless integration and the possibility of further integration via Niles loudspeakers.”
