As part of its continuing efforts to support its dealers, Crestron has announced a comprehensive programme of training for 2010.
Building upon the impressive offering of 2009, the firm is introducing three brand new courses and expanding its core Foundation course.
Mike Backler, Head of Training at Crestron, explains: “The Crestron Training Programme is designed to equip integrators for the control system design and programming challenges facing commercial and residential AV professionals everyday. We have three new courses for 2010 as our course curriculum has been expanded to better serve the needs of our dealers and programmers, and we have also produced a Training Guide to outline which courses we run, where they are running and what delegates need to know in order to make the most of them. We provide the best training in the industry through our regional offices, as well as through our online offering which is ever-expanding and gives delegates convenience and 24/7 access to information about installing and programming systems.”
New courses, 'DigitalMedia', 'Lighting Specifier Training' and 'D3Pro Programming' join the likes of 'Crestron Foundation', 'Advanced Systembuilder' and 'Residential & Commercial System Design' on the Crestron calendar. Training is accredited by respected industry organisations, with relevant courses generating RUs (Renewal Units) and CEUs (Continuing Education Units) for ICIA- and CEDIA-certified individuals respectively.
Full details of the training programme are available on Crestron's website, which also offers a downloadable Training Guide setting out the locations and course descriptions (training is run at all of Crestron’s four regional offices: Cobham, Doncaster, Livingston, Scotland and Dublin, Ireland), and you'll also find details on upcoming courses in SVI's Movers & Shakers directory.
