Retailers get in sporting mood for BBG-Peerless’ cricket competition
Held at Tring Park Cricket Club, the event attracted Around 160 competitors and spectators, with food, drink and entertainment provided for the families of those competing. Eight teams took part in the six-a-side, five-over competition, which ultimately saw representatives from Hughes and Apollo take home the winners’ trophy following a tense, 73-run victory in the final against Shasonic.
A triumphant Jeremy Hughes remarked that, “After three years of coming so close, we were thrilled to win the Cricket Cup this year.
