July saw Big Red Sales add Yamaha to its list of prestigious names available through its dealer network. Commenting on the development Big Red Sales director John Reddington told us: “We are delighted to add such a blue chip and highly regarded company to our ever-expanding portfolio of premium brands.”

The partnership sees John link up once again with Ian Galloway who he first worked with in the 70s at Harman International. Now Director of Yamaha’s AV Division Ian commented, saying: “I am delighted to be working with John again. Our first project together will be to introduce our new and existing desk top radio, audio systems and One Bar solutions to the Big Red Sales dealer network.”

Coming against the backdrop of improved turnover compared to the first six months of 2010 John added: “We are extremely pleased at the excellent progress we have made in what can only be described as the most challenging period in the 40 years I have been in the industry. And now with the addition of Yamaha to our ranks, we are confident that the remainder of the year leading up to the peak season will see increased sales for our premium brand partners.”
