Taking place from Monday 10 until Friday 14 November at CEDIA’s HQ in St Neots, the Project Management course has been designed to provide project managers with help and advice in how best to survive the current economic climate.
The first four days feature a four day PMI (Project Management Institute) CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) Certification preparation course, presented by PMI-certified instructor Adrian Taggart. Providing both new and experienced project managers with an in-depth understanding of the way that larger projects are managed by all the different construction professionals, this global, cross-industry standard Certification also gives project managers credibility working as part of a larger construction industry team.

Completely generic in nature, this part of the course will challenge attendees with case studies that are outside of the CI industry, as well as preparing them for the specific requirements of the CAPM exam (course attendees must register directly with the PMI after the course in order to take the exam) with coaching and practice questions.

On the final day, invited CEDIA project managers will be available in a workshop session designed to facilitate discussion and help formulate processes specific to the attendee's company, and the industry in general.

The course costs £1,375 plus VAT for both members and non-members, and covered in that price is a course workbook, the Project Management Institute PMBOK (a 400 page book), a resource CD, breakfast, lunch and daytime refreshments and four nights B&B accommodation.

With a maximum of 12 places available, we suggest that you book now by visiting http://www.cedia.co.uk/education, and clicking on ‘Book CEDIA Training’.
