SVI reported on the arrival of Wharfedale's Diamond 10.1standmount speaker back in issue 64, since when the complete Diamond 10 series has been unveiled. The full line-up includes standmount speakers, the 10.0, 10.1 and 10.2; floorstanding speakers, the 10.3, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6 and 10.7; centre speakers, the 10.CC, 10. CS and 10.CR; surround speakers, the 10.SR and 10.DFS; and, finally, subwoofers, the 10.SX-SUB, 10.MX-SUB and 10.GX-SUB. There is also a home cinema package on offer, which comprises four 10.0's, one 10.CC and one 10.MX-SUB.
Amongst the myriad features and technologies benefiting the range are stronger cabinet walls for the reduction of internal waves; a composite front baffle panel; improvements to the main drive units; and upgraded crossovers.
The Diamond 10 series is priced from £129.95 per pair of 10.0's, with the Diamond 10 HCP priced at £649.95.
