Systemline S6.2

Multi-room entertainment specialist Systemline has commenced shipping the successor to its S6 central controller. The new S6.2 features six configurable RS-232 ports, plus a pair of dedicated RS-232 control ports – one for enabling integration within other systems (including the likes of Nevo, KNX or Lutron) and another that will allow the connection of an HDMI-capable video matrix switch.
Equipped with six audio inputs, the S6.2 can support up to eight keypad-controlled audio zones, each of which can be assigned a local input with accompanying IR control for external devices. Also included are six routable IR sockets, two global IR sockets, an Ethernet port and a separate RJ45 socket for linking two S6.2 units together in a dual configuration – the latter of which will enable six AV sources to be sent to, and accessed from, a maximum of 16 zones.
The S6.2 is available now, supported by a dedicated training course for installers.
