Available here in the UK through Impact Screen Solutions, Screenline offer a wide array of home cinema screen options to suit the needs of any home-based cinephile. The two latest additions to the Italian innovator’s arsenal are designed to pander to the needs of the modern consumer in 3D infused market.
Daniel Brooker at Impact Screen Solutions told us: “Aimed at the new market driven by the new generation of 3D projectors with active glasses Screenline launched their new high gain 3D surface range of fixed frame screens. This projecting surface is notable for its unique performance which emphasizes both the brightness and the contrast of the projected image. The brightness of the image benefits from a gain factor of 2.8 in absolute value which makes it possible to compensate for the natural brightness loss of active 3D projectors due to the filter effect of the active glasses whilst the contrast is five times higher than what it would be using normal white fabric, thus giving the image a better field depth. The viewing angle - a critical factor for high gain fabrics – becomes remarkably wider and allows a greater flexibility when conceiving and building a projection room. The framed screens are available in many formats 16:9, 16:10 or 2.35:1 with or without a velvet frame finish and trade prices start from just £248 + VAT.”
