Mornings can sometimes seem indiscernibly homogenous; the start of the daily grind can become an amorphous routine that differs little day to day. So when we found ourselves greeted, on one of these unremarkable mornings, with a package the morning suddenly became noteworthy and our outlook became far more sanguine.

Catching our attention, and brightening our day was Sanus with the personalised delivery of one of its new Elements Super Slim HDMI cables for us to experience firsthand. The new range, as the name suggests, has been designed to aid the installation of ultra thin TVs when mounted close to walls and in tight spaces. The cables feature a metal connector that is 40% shorter than a standard HDMI connector and an ultra flexible cable which makes it ideal for tight spaces where other HDMI cables won’t suffice.

Andy Graham, UK Country Manager, said of the new cable: “One of the most frustrating problems for installers and customers is the inability to connect the HDMI cable to the back of the new super thin TV that has just been mounted very close to the wall. Sanus has listened to the feedback from its customers and end-users and provided a cost effective solution that enables all the benefits of a low profile display and mount to be fully realised without the bulky HDMI connector and cable getting in the way.”

With support for 10, 12 and 24 bit colour depths and 3D compatibility, the Sanus HDMI cable is suitable for use with the very latest in Blu-ray and TV technology. High speed internet connectivity also eliminates the need for separate ethernet cables when used with compatible devices. The Sanus Elements HDMI cable is available in 1m, 2m and 3m lengths priced at £29.99, £34.99 and £39.99 for the different lenghts.
