Exclusively available through distributor AWE and described as the only CI-focussed screens currently on the market, Panasonic's Custom Home Theatre (CHT) monitors (50- and 65-inches in size respectively) are Full HD 1080p plasmas suitable for a spot at the centre of the finest AV set-ups.

Boasting a slender (just 94mm), sculpted black surround, the screens feature native contrast ratios of 40,000:1 and 60,000:1 respectively, with brightness levels reaching 1200 cd/m². Connectivity options are equally impressive, comprising twin double HDMI ports and component with audio connections (2x RCA for the TH-50; 5x RCA for the TH-65) out of the box.

Myriad settings are available to precisely adjust either screen to suit the source material (Black; Gamma Input Level; AGC – increases brightness of dark level; White Balance; Cinema Reality – for 24p material; Noise Reduction), and there are 16 presets available to store commonly used configurations. For applications in which deep blacks, strong colours and smooth, flowing images are essential, the CHT range is an excellent choice.
