Demonstrated to the assembled masses at CEDIA Expo 2009, Optoma's HD20 is a Full HD 1080p 24p solution ideal for Home Cinema, gaming and TV applications, and priced at just £899. Its 1700-lumens brightness and 500:1 ANSI contrast ratio are facilitated by Texas Instruments' DLP technology, which delivers a big-screen cinema experience worthy of many pricier models, whilst a low noise level of just 29dB in standard mode ensures the device won't ever intrude upon playback.
Other features include twin HDMI 1.3 inputs (VGA and Composite inputs are also provided) and a 12V output for motorised screen triggering, with a five-year colour quality guarantee completing the package.
