LOEWE XELOS LED

Entry-level is a term that is sometimes maligned by those working in the AV industry, used as a byword for poor-quality and cheap. This, however, is undoubtedly a fallacy as we show each time we feature an entry-level product in SVI that completely debunks any false notions of a lack of quality. Take the Loewe Xelos LED TVs for example, with prices starting at £995 for the 32-inch option, the Xelos comes with the claim of being Loewe’s entry-level LED TV option but a quick glance at its vital statistics reveals that the derisory connotations that some ascribe to the term entry-level would be erroneous once again.

By introducing LED technology to the Xelos, Loewe has taken what was already a high-quality playback to a whole new level. The LED lighting of the LCD panel enables a slim profile and high dynamic contrast with brilliant colour reproduction. The calculation of interpolated images with movement recognition helps the 100Hz-moving image display to guarantee razor-sharp contours and an even faster picture reaction time – and all, naturally, in full HD. The result is fluid movement, superior sharpness, highly detailed display and optimal contrast – and the same goes for DVD and Blu-ray playback. The Xelos houses DVB-T and DVB-C tuners – a DVB-S2 tuner can also be specified – and handles 24p with aplomb. On request, the Loewe Xelos LED can also be equipped with a DVB-S2 tuner. All of this makes the Loewe Xelos LED the perfect choice for anyone who desires pure, smooth-flowing TV images. Couple this with the design virtues that one comes to expect from Loewe and we see that entry-level products in the AV remain far from poor quality.
