Pitched at entry-level users, InFocus have launched the X9.
Built around native 16:9 widescreen DLP technology, it offers 720p High Definition images rendered with a 2500:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 1800 lumens. Given its compact dimensions and ability to project pictures ranging from 0.69m to 9.13m in size (diagonal) from a distance of up to 12m, it appears well suited for use in areas where space is at a premium, while its HDMI 1.3 connector and component, S-Video, composite, VGA and RS232 ports ought to have most users’ casual viewing, gaming and presentation needs covered.
Supplied with a 2-year limited factory warranty and 6-month lamp replacement warranty, the X9 is available now for a distinctly reasonable £499.
