So Apple is richer than the US, at least that’s what we’ve gleaned from the news and we’re too stubborn to learn any more about it in the fear that someone might disprove this hysteria inducing revelation. One reason for Apple’s country dwarfing wealth is, undoubtebly, its stranglehold on the tablet market. Though competitors are now arriving at the table Apple are on to the second iteration of the iPad and are frankly leaving everyone in their wake.
The CI industry is just one of the ancillary industries to have embraced the iPad like technological brother and looked to make the most of this innovative device. Now homeowners can use an iPad or iPad 2 as the control device for their home system and with major players like Crestron on board the popularity of these dedicated control apps is on the rise. Now in order to cement the iPad’s place in the modern controlled home Crestron have released two docking solutions to help homeowners store their iPad and make the most of its home control capabilities. The prosaically named IDOC-PAD and IDOC-PAD2 are horizontally justified to ensure simple control whilst the in-built charging system ensures that when it is time to travel users are ready to go.
“Whether you own the iPad or the new iPad2 there’s a Crestron solution for you,” says Robin van Meeuwen, VP of Sales and Marketing for Crestron International. “The new docking solutions are the latest part of Crestron’s commitment to keeping our customers at the cutting edge of technology, the design and added benefit of charging the device elevates the popular iPad to a fully functioning and integrated, mobile Crestron touch panel.”
