The organisers of Europe's biggest consumer electronics event, Berlin's IFA show, are pulling out all the stop to make this year's event extra special...
The organisers of IFA, Europe's largest consumer electronics showcase, have called in American pop rock singer P!NK to kick off 2007's event. Yes, come August 30th, the 27 year old artist will be rocking the Summer Garden at the foot of Berlin’s radio tower, the Funkturm, at the grand opening of the show.

The organisers of the IFA are confident that P!NK, who recently completed a successful tour of Germany, will provide an unforgettable show on the Berlin exhibition grounds. As one of today’s best known pop stars, her performance at the IFA Summer Garden Open Air 2007 will feature a healthy selection of tunes from her back catalogue, including both up-tempo numbers and ballads.

The tickets, which cost 39 euro, are available now, offer admission to the pyrotechnical display at the Funkturm and include a day ticket for the IFA show itself. This means that anyone attending the concert can both be there at the start and experience all the latest developments in the consumer electronics sector for one day between August 31st and September 5th.

In addition to the opening concert, throughout the IFA event the summer garden will be the venue for a varied programme of entertainment with some well-known names.
